Jane is currently developing a ceramic burrow system and nesting dome for the critically endangered Greater Stick Nest Rat (Leporillus conditor). This work will be trialed at Arid Recovery, Roxby Downs, and at the associated breeding program for Greater Stick Nest Rats at Adelaide Zoo. This is a collaborative project with Dr. Kath Tuft who is a conservation ecologist and General Manager of Arid Recovery.
This activity is supported by Arts Tasmania, ‘New Work for New Markets’ grant 2021.
